The best Pipedrive alternative depends on why you're leaving. If you love the deal board and forecasts but hate the add-on bill, you're probably better off staying on a cheaper Pipedrive plan. If the real issue is that support, project work and half your team live outside the CRM because every login is another seat, look at a flat-rate all-in-one CRM. Argento CRM is that kind of tool: $25 a month for up to 10 users, with deals, tickets, tasks and projects in one workspace. It does not have deal values, forecasts or a kanban board, so be honest with yourself about whether you use those.
Most people shopping for a Pipedrive alternative got exactly what Pipedrive promised: a clean, fast sales pipeline that salespeople actually update. The trouble starts when the business needs more than a pipeline. Someone has to handle the customer after the deal closes, someone runs the project, and someone answers the support email. In Pipedrive, those jobs mean add-ons, more seats or a second tool. This guide helps you work out which of those problems you actually have, prices one realistic team both ways, and maps Pipedrive's records to what you'd use instead.
What Pipedrive does well (be sure you're not leaving this behind)
Pipedrive earned its reputation. Before you switch, it's worth naming what you'd be giving up, because some of it doesn't exist in simpler tools, including ours.
- The visual pipeline. Dragging deals between stage columns is quick and satisfying, and it keeps reps honest about where things stand.
- Deal values and forecasting. Each deal carries an amount, and from the Growth plan up Pipedrive includes forecast reports. If your owner reviews a weighted pipeline every Monday, that matters.
- Activity-based selling. Calls, meetings and emails are scheduled against each deal, so the next step is always visible.
- Email sync and sales automations on Growth and above, plus a large integration marketplace.
If those four things are the heart of how you sell and you have full-time salespeople, Pipedrive may still be the right tool. The rest of this guide is for teams whose pain is somewhere else.
Which Pipedrive problem are you solving?
"Pipedrive is too expensive" and "Pipedrive doesn't fit how we work" lead to different answers. Find your row:
| What you're running into | What usually fixes it | Is a flat-rate all-in-one CRM the fix? |
|---|---|---|
| The per-seat bill grows every time you hire, even for people who only look things up. | A CRM that includes users in the plan price. | Yes. This is the main reason to switch. |
| Support requests live in a shared inbox or a separate help desk, so sales can't see them. | Tickets on the same company record as the deals. | Yes, if the CRM has built-in tickets. |
| After a deal closes, delivery work moves to another project tool and context gets lost. | Projects in the CRM, linked to the company. | Yes. Pipedrive Projects is an extra cost on lower tiers. |
| You're paying for Growth or Premium but only use contacts, deals and reminders. | A lower Pipedrive tier, or a simpler CRM. | Possibly. Try the cheaper Pipedrive plan first. |
| You need better forecasting, weighted pipeline or revenue reports. | A stronger sales CRM or a reporting add-on. | No. Argento tracks deal amounts and totals them per stage, but has no weighted pipeline or forecasts. |
| Reps want a drag-and-drop board. | Stay with a board-based CRM. | No. Argento uses list views with status columns. |

Pipedrive alternatives, sorted by the gap they fill
Lists of Pipedrive alternatives usually rank a dozen products as if they did the same job. They don't. There are roughly four directions you can go:
Another pipeline-first sales CRM
Similar shape to Pipedrive, sometimes cheaper per seat. Worth a look if you like Pipedrive's approach and just want a different price or a feature it lacks. You'll still pay per seat and still need separate tools for support and delivery.
A large CRM suite
Salesforce, Zoho CRM and HubSpot's paid hubs can do nearly anything with enough configuration and the right edition. Good when you have someone who likes setting up software and requirements that will keep growing. Our guides to HubSpot alternatives for small business and Salesforce alternatives cover those trade-offs in detail.
A flat-rate all-in-one CRM
Fewer sales-specific features, but sales, support tickets, tasks, projects and documents share one set of customer records, and everyone gets a login without a per-seat charge. This is where Argento sits.
Keep Pipedrive and bolt on a help desk
Perfectly reasonable if sales is the center of the business and support is light. The cost is a second login and a second customer list to keep in sync.
A worked example: six people, priced both ways
Say you run a six-person managed IT company: two people selling, three technicians and an office manager who schedules work and chases invoices. Everyone needs to see the customer's history. The technicians spend their day in support tickets and onboarding projects; only two people touch deals.
As of October 2026, Pipedrive's pricing page lists four plans per seat, per month, billed annually: Lite at $14, Growth at $39, Premium at $59 and Ultimate at $79. Add-ons are listed separately, including Projects from $16, Campaigns from $13.33 and LeadBooster from $32.50. Here's year one at list price:
| Setup | How it's calculated | Year one, before add-ons |
|---|---|---|
| Pipedrive Lite, all six people | 6 seats × $14 × 12 | $1,008 |
| Pipedrive Growth, all six people | 6 seats × $39 × 12 | $2,808 |
| Pipedrive Premium, all six people | 6 seats × $59 × 12 | $4,248 |
| Pipedrive Growth, sales only, plus a separate help desk for the techs | 2 seats × $39 × 12, plus the help desk's own fee | $936 + help desk |
| Argento CRM Starter, all six people | $25 × 12, up to 10 users | $300 |
The fourth row is what many small teams end up doing, and it's the one that causes the most trouble. The technicians can't see that a customer is mid-renewal, and the salespeople don't know the customer opened three urgent tickets last week. Those blind spots cost more than the subscription difference.
To be fair to Pipedrive, the comparison isn't like for like. Growth includes email sync, automations and forecast reports that Argento doesn't have. If your two salespeople rely on those, the extra cost may be justified. The point is narrower: when four of your six logins are people who never touch a deal, per-seat pricing charges them full price anyway. Pipedrive to Argento: what maps across and what doesn't
Here's how Pipedrive's records and habits translate. The honest gaps are in the right-hand column, not hidden in a footnote.
| In Pipedrive | In Argento CRM |
|---|---|
| Organizations | Companies, with industry, type, website, address and notes. Opening a company shows its contacts, tickets, tasks and projects. |
| People | Contacts, with position, location, lead status, lifecycle stage and social profiles. A contact can belong to more than one company. |
| Leads inbox | Contacts with a lead status and lifecycle stage you filter on. New website leads arrive through form capture. |
| Deals with value and probability | Deals with name, description, company, amount, status, priority and due date, plus a dollar total per stage. No probabilities, win rates or forecasts. |
| Pipeline board with stages | A Deals list with a status column you can sort and filter. No kanban board. |
| Activities (calls, meetings, to-dos) | Tasks with due dates, statuses and email reminders. No calendar sync or meeting scheduler. |
| Email sync | Not available. Email campaigns send from your own mailbox with merge fields and open and click tracking. |
| Workflow automations | Not available as a builder. Automation covers form capture, reminders and scheduled campaigns. |
| Projects add-on | Projects included on every plan, linked to the company, with status, priority and due date. |
| Products catalog | No equivalent. Note products in the deal description. |
| Help desk (separate tool) | Support tickets with subtasks, status lists and reminders, plus a knowledge base. |
If the bold items in that table are dealbreakers, Argento isn't your Pipedrive alternative, and we'd rather you know now than on day ten of a trial.
Moving from Pipedrive: the export-to-import order
Budget an afternoon for a few thousand records. The order matters, because contacts need a company to link to.
- Export from Pipedrive. As an admin, open the account menu and go to Tools and apps → Export data. Export organizations, people, deals and activities as separate CSV files. Pipedrive's export guide notes that generated files stay available for 28 days, so download them straight away.
- Trim before you import. Drop people with no email and no phone, merge duplicate organizations, and decide on a short list of lead statuses. Moving is the cheapest time to clean up.
- Import companies. In Argento, go to Settings → Data Management → Import Data, choose companies, select the organizations CSV and click Next: Map Fields. Set columns you don't need to Don't Import.
- Import contacts. Same screen, using the people file. The summary lists any skipped rows and why, so you can fix them and re-run. If an import fails, nothing is saved, so you won't get half a list.
- Turn open activities into tasks. Import the activities CSV as tasks, keeping only ones that aren't done. Switch on reminders for anything due this week.
- Re-create open deals. The importer handles companies, contacts, tickets and tasks, not deals. A handful can go in by hand under Deals → Add Deal. For more, connect Claude through Settings → MCP Server (steps in the Help Center), paste your open deals and ask it to create each one linked to the right company. If you want to keep the old amount, put it in the description. Check the Recent activity log afterward.
- Move your web forms. Form capture works with Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, WPForms, Elementor and plain HTML forms, so new leads keep arriving without anyone forwarding emails.
- Invite everyone. The technicians and office manager who never had a Pipedrive seat get a login now. That's the whole point.
Keep Pipedrive running for the length of the 14-day trial. If something turns out to be missing, you'll find out while you can still export it again.
When to stay on Pipedrive
Switching costs a few hours and some goodwill. Don't do it for a small saving. Stay if:
- Most of your logins belong to full-time salespeople, and nobody outside sales needs the CRM.
- Your weekly meeting runs off deal values, weighted pipeline or forecast reports.
- You depend on Pipedrive's email sync or automations to keep deals moving.
- You've built integrations around Pipedrive that other systems now rely on.
If none of those fit, and your problem is the gap between sales and everything that happens after the sale, a flat-rate CRM is worth two weeks of your time. You can see what each Argento plan includes on the pricing section of the features page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Pipedrive alternative for a small business?
It depends on what you're missing. If you want another pipeline-focused sales CRM, look at others in that category. If your team needs support tickets, projects and logins for non-sales staff in the same place, a flat-rate all-in-one CRM like Argento fits better. If you mainly want a lower bill, try a cheaper Pipedrive plan first.
How much does Pipedrive cost?
As of October 2026, Pipedrive's pricing page lists Lite at $14, Growth at $39, Premium at $59 and Ultimate at $79 per seat per month, billed annually, with add-ons such as Projects, Campaigns and LeadBooster priced separately. Argento CRM is a flat $25 a month for up to 10 users on Starter.
Does Argento CRM have a pipeline board like Pipedrive?
No. Argento shows deals in a list with status, priority and due date columns you can sort and filter. There is no drag-and-drop kanban board, and while deals carry a dollar amount (with a total per stage), there are no win rates or forecasts.
Can I import my Pipedrive data into Argento?
Yes. Export organizations, people and activities from Pipedrive as CSV files, then import them as companies, contacts and tasks under Settings, Data Management, Import Data. Open deals are added by hand or created by a connected AI assistant such as Claude from a pasted list.
Is there a Pipedrive alternative without per-user pricing?
Yes. Argento CRM charges a flat plan price with users included: $25 a month for up to 10 users, $50 for up to 50 and $100 for up to 100. Deals, tickets, tasks and projects are unlimited on every plan.
Does Argento have sales automation like Pipedrive?
Not in the same way. There's no workflow builder, if-then triggers or lead scoring. Argento's automation is website form capture that creates records automatically, email reminders on tasks and tickets, and scheduled email campaigns sent from your own mailbox with open and click tracking.
